Shaft Seal "DrySeal"

The Lasdrop DrySeal features a compact, economical lip sealdesign that can be installed quickly and easily. The self-adjusting inner lip seal is held in place by a split-face plate and secured to a stationary durable copolymer housing. This keeps the seal in constant, low friction contact with the shaft preventing water from passing in, or out of your vessel. the lip seal is designed for marine use. As in all Lasdrop seals, the unit incorporates a cuttlass bearing in the housing to keep the unit properly aligned with the shaft.

The DrySeal has an optional back-up seal that can be installed without removing the unit or the shaft. Also and excelent rudder shaft seal.
